What it is, and why we build it this way
An ostomy pouch is the hardest skin-interface product there is: it must hold for days against body fluid, protect peri-stomal skin, block odour, and never fail in public. Every capability in our plant — hydrocolloid formulation, barrier moulding, EVOH film extrusion, activated-carbon filtering, EO sterilisation — was pushed to its limit here first, and then applied to the rest of our range.
Layer construction
Every layer exists for a reason. Change one and you change how the product behaves on skin — that is where our engineering starts.
Typical construction. Layer count, thickness and materials adjustable per programme.
